I’m a San Francisco native (gasp!) who grew up climbing trees and swinging on branches and digging holes in my backyard in hopes of discovering buried treasure or dinosaur bones. I have watched the city evolve over the past two and a half decades, not to mention my Giants winning two world series (although I only lived in the city for one), but I still have yet to get use to the micro-climates. My heart draws me to the sunshine and trees and mountains, which will someday pull me away from the foggy city. In fact, I tend to view the fog as a layer of misery. A little negative, I know, but sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows sound so much more appealing.
Who I Am
I'm a dreamer and a thinker. I think way too much, too fast, and too endlessly. My brain does not turn off. Ever. I guess none of ours do, but mine seems to speak to me a little too frequently. I often wish my mind had a pen and paper handy at all times, jotting down my every thought as it persistently rambles on and on and on and... I guess I'll take a stab at this blogging thing instead.
